Ukraine Appeal

St Luke's is currently looking into ways to support the crisis in Ukraine.

In the meantime, the people and churches of Ukraine are urgently seeking Bibles and the Scottish Bible Society is responding to this.  The link to the Scottish Bible Society's web page relating to this is below if you wish further information or to make a donation directly to the appeal:

The Society's campaign is 'Hope against Fear' and gives believing people a chance to share the great hope that we have in the Lord Jesus Christ.

St Luke's thinks that support for the Ukraine will be ongoing and there will be many opportunities to support Blythswood, the Red Cross, etc.  However, Ramsay feels that this appeal for Bibles would be a good starting point for a retiring offering.  As such, the following two Sundays, ie the 6th and 13th, there will be an opportunity to give donations at the end of the service.  It would be helpful if you could keep your donations until after the service and if you wish to make a donation by cheque, this should be made out to St Luke's Church, Milngavie.
