Blythswood Care Shoebox Appeal 2020
Shoe Box Appeal 2020
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS YEAR'S SHOEBOX APPEAL IS NOW CLOSED AND YOUR GENEROUS GIFTS HAVE BEEN PASSED ON TO BLYTHSWOOD CARE FOR DISTRIBUTION IN EASTERN EUROPE, THANK YOU.
Despite the difficulties that they face every day, through poverty, illness, disability, or other disadvantages, receiving a shoebox brings such joy to children and adults in Eastern Europe, that their faces light up with huge smiles.
You can make such a difference to lives that are otherwise almost hopeless.
If you are having a problem sourcing an empty shoebox this year then please use a drawstring bag (no plastic bags, please) instead. Maximum size is 500mm x 300mm. These are available from a number of shops, especially sports shops.
To obtain further information please contact Diane Black on 0141 956 2409
If you're able to fill one or more shoeboxes please deliver them to Diane at the end of October. Alternatively, Diane can uplift them and any small change boxes that you may have by calling her on the above 'phone number.
Please also don't forget that the Blythswood Care recycling container in the church's Balvie Road car park is open again, thank you.
